In this bonus lesson, you'll learn how to trigger a reply from your bot when people use certain keywords. Previous lessons touched on this method for specific situations. These are the general steps for using keywords in ManyChat.
- Select “Keywords” under “Automation” on the left
- Click on “+New Rule”
- Type in the keyword you want to use then “Create Keyword”.
- Click on “Create New Reply” and type in your message as would any other broadcast.
- When you are done with your message and have attached all your goodies, click on “Publish” in the top right corner.

Q) What is the best way to automate replies to thank you messages from people?
A) The easiest way is to set up a welcome message. you can set up a keyword phrase but honestly for something like this, I would do this manually if possible because the personal touch goes a long way. That said, if there are tons of them, then you may want to set up the keywords for sure!
