- 60% say they plan to increase their investment in video in the next year.
So, in case it isn’t clear, video marketing is ABSOLUTELY the right next step for your business!
But, you might be stuck, not knowing HOW to use video to reach new people, attract leads and increase your influence.
Following are 10 Ways to Use Video for Your Business, Starting Today.
1. Hold a Webinar
Webinars are a great choice if you want to share your expertise on a topic in a bit more depth.
And once you’re done with your webinar, you can use the recording in a multitude of ways – one of my favorites is as a lead magnet. Simply promote your free webinar on your website and social media and see a steady stream of new subscribers joining your list!
2. Tell a Story on Instagram
Another hit way to your video marketing is Instagram Stories coz’ there are just SO many ways to use this platform to boost your influence!
Some of my favorite strategies for Insta-stories are piecing together related images or videos to:
- Recount an event that happened in your life or business
- Promote a special sale or offer
- Announce a product launch
- Encourage or motivate my audience with quotes
- Share “behind the scenes” peeks into my life or business

3. Do a Live Q&A

This is a great way to provide tons of value to your audience in a really personal and interactive way!
4. Send Personalized Videos to Customers or Clients
People LOVE feeling special and getting noticed! A great way to do this is to send personalized videos to customers or clients.
Send a short video for birthdays, anniversaries, or just as a way of saying “Thank you” or “Welcome to our community”. This is a great way to let your clients know you’re thinking of them, and yet a video marketing strategy to keep your business top of mind!
5. Promote Your Blog Posts
Having trouble getting people to click through to your blog posts? Create a short “teaser” video that outlines the main points of your post.
For instance, if your post is titled, “5 Ways to Get More Clients Without Cold Calling”, create a short, 15-30 second video where you very briefly let people know those 5 steps. This is a great way to whet their appetite for more info!
Hint, hint…you could even do a Facebook LIVE using this strategy!
6. Launch a New Product or Service
Want to get some buzz going about a new product or service you’re selling?
Create a short video showing how your new offering can help your audience, and offer a discount or coupon code for those who have viewed the video.

These don’t have to be fancy! Simply lay out the steps for how to help your audience CRUSH a particular task or problem and I promise they will love it!
8. Share Inspirational Videos
You know how much I LOVE sharing inspirational and motivational quotes on my social media! Maybe what you didn’t know is WHY?!
Did you know that inspirational/motivational content is the MOST SHARED type of content in the social space?! And if you think about it…it makes sense…people love to find content that resonates with them on a personal level and they SHARE it when they do!
AND, if you want to take things up a notch, put your quotes to music and share them as inspirational VIDEOS.
With the right tool, you can create these short video quotes in just a few seconds, and the perceived value of your video – as opposed to just an image – is so much higher!

I’ve said it a million times…people buy from people they know, like and trust.
One of the best ways to help people get to know you is to show them who you REALLY are. And one of the best ways to do this is to share your story – or the story of why you do what you do.
You may also want to create a video telling your business’s “origin story”…or the story of how and why you started your business, and how it’s grown and helped people over the years!
